Instructor/Facilitator Guide

In creating the instructor guide for my proposed instructional unit, I approached it from the standpoint of an instructor who knows SAP cold, but may not know how to be a good technical trainer. The instructor guide below is an exact replica of the user guide, but annotated with training strategies derived from the fourteen IBSTPI competencies for Certified Technical Trainer as I satisfied them back in 2003. The prompts in the margins of the guide, I hope, assist a novice instructor in managing the classroom environment, assuring preparation of the learning environment, using instructional methods appropriately, using media appropriately, and so on. The guide assumes that SAP experts new to training will have attended a train-the-trainer course, but extra reinforcement of what is covered in that course always helps.
