I am a third-act student. After nearly fifteen years as an administrator at several public universities, I embarked on a second career as a technology trainer and earned several related certifications along the way. My training experience led me to training consulting, which in turn led to balancing multiple roles as a trainer and instructional designer/developer. Eighteen years in that role, and here I am reinventing myself yet again. Knowing life is too short to miss out on a great opportunity, I dropped everything to return to school for a second master’s degree!
My eventual goal is to earn either a terminal degree in instructional design or instructional technology; or earn a Juris Doctor degree, specializing in First Amendment issues. Only then will I be able to rest and enjoy what life and this world, even post-global pandemic, have to offer.
