Inquiring as to how I could best help Honeywell with their transition to SAP, my manager noted that oddly enough, a basic navigation course was never created. Basic nav techniques were usually incorporated into SAP content training. My goal with this project is to create an adaptable course that can be taught in an instructor-led training class, or with a little modification converted to an e-learning course for Honeywell employees who cannot attend in-person training. Additionally, the course will need to be easily translatable into any language Honeywell conducts business in.
Honeywell and other SAP consultants on the ground on that project have told me that most business users have at least some SAP experience, but never got that formal training I describe above. Most of what they know is through trial-and-error or peer coaching. The baseline for the concepts and activities planned in my course is that level of knowledge.
